This Year’s Halloween and Christmas Theme: Stitch!
This year, I’ve decided to embrace a Stitch theme for both Halloween and Christmas! Now, I’m not going all out with Stitch decorations in every corner of my house—just a few fun touches here and there. We’re still taking baby steps toward fully decking out the house, but we’re slowly getting there!
For Halloween, I wanted to create something special for our dining table, so I decided to make a Stitch-themed table runner. It’s surprisingly hard to find Halloween-themed Stitch decor, so I thought, “Why not make my own?” It’s been a fun DIY project that I can’t wait to show off.
As for other Stitch decor, I’ve found a few amazing pieces! The Stitch cookie jars from TJ Maxx and Marshalls went viral on TikTok and have been so hard to find. These jars are adorable and add the perfect amount of Stitch magic to the kitchen. I’m still on the hunt for the Stitch soap dispenser to complete the set, but I’m loving the cookie jars in the meantime. Honestly, I kind of enjoy the challenge of finding rare decor items. It’s like a little treasure hunt, and when I finally find them, I feel so accomplished. It’s that “Yes! I got it!” feeling—like when my husband wanted a PS5 when it first launched. The PS5 sold out within minutes, but I was able to snag one! I was so proud of myself for beating the clock… though, sadly, the soap dispenser has eluded me so far. Haha!
I also plan to share more of my crafts on the blog, so stay tuned! I might even post some tutorials to show you how I create my projects. It’s been a blast working on these decorations, and I can’t wait to share more fun ideas with you!
