I originally purchased the Bond Touch Heart Necklace ($89) for my son, but due to some “user error,” I had to contact customer service. However, they were incredibly helpful and ended up sending me a replacement—so now I have two, one for me and one for my son! I even offered to pay for the replacement since it was really my mistake and not an issue with the product like originally thought.
This necklace allows you to store and share a heartbeat through the Bond Touch app. When someone who also has the necklace touches the heart, they can feel the recorded heartbeat in real-time. It’s such a cool concept, and I was hoping it would help my son when he feels anxious. Since I ended up with two, I decided to wear one with my son’s heartbeat for my own anxiety, and it truly helps me—I can hold it anytime and feel his heartbeat, which is really comforting.
The battery lasts up to 22 days on a full charge, and it takes overnight to fully recharge. Setting it up is pretty straightforward after you get the heart to sync. The biggest issue I faced was getting the initial connection—you actually have to remove the necklace part from the heart and sync it separately. This isn’t mentioned anywhere, but once I figured it out, both hearts “woke up” and connected smoothly.
You can customize the color within the app, but just a heads-up—the heart itself doesn’t light up, the color is only visible in the app.
I’ll be posting a video tutorial showing the setup process and a walk-through of the app since there aren’t many guides out there. I definitely think this would help others!
